Azerbaijan signs agreement to host Swimming World Cup in Baku

Azerbaijan has signed an official agreement with the International Swimming Federation to host the World Cup in swimming in 2026.
The Ministry of Youth and Sports informed Report that the Baku Aquatic Palace will host the Silk Way Swimming World Cup on October 1–3, 2026.
The document was signed by the President of the Azerbaijan Swimming Federation, Zaur Aliyev, and the President of the International Swimming Federation, Husain Al-Musallam. Minister of Youth and Sports Farid Gayibov also participated in the signing ceremony.
The first stage of the Silk Way World Cup will be held in Baku. The following stages will take place in Tashkent (Uzbekistan) on October 8–10 and in Astana (Kazakhstan) on October 15–17.
