Azerbaijan names squad for U17 Wrestling World Championships

Azerbaijan has announced its national team roster for the U17 Wrestling World Championships, which will be held in Baku from July 27 through August 2, the Azerbaijan Wrestling Federation said.

The host nation will be represented by 29 wrestlers across women's wrestling, Greco-Roman wrestling, and freestyle wrestling.

The tournament will take place at the National Gymnastics Arena.

According to the final entry list approved by United World Wrestling (UWW), the championships will feature 663 athletes, 272 coaches, and 64 international referees. More than 1,100 international guests are expected to visit Azerbaijan for the event.
