The aircraft carrying Azerbaijan's President Ilham Aliyev made a U-turn while flying over Moscow, promptly returning to Baku. The sudden change in course came moments after the president received the tragic news of an AZAL plane crash near Aktau, Kazakhstan.
According to Report, upon learning of the catastrophe, President Aliyev swiftly ordered to divert the plane back to Azerbaijan's capital. The presidential aircraft, which was en route to Moscow, immediately changed course and charted a path back to Baku.
