Azerbaijani rescuer conquers highest peak in Africa, raises flag of Azerbaijan

On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of national leader Heydar Aliyev, the employee of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan, Sima Safarova, conquered the Uhuru peak of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest point of the African continent, on March 25-28.
Safarova, who marched from Arusha, Tanzania, to the Uhuru peak of Mount Kilimanjaro, waved the Azerbaijani flag on the peak at the height of 5895 meters above the sea.
Sima Safarova is a rescuer of the Special Risk Rescue Service of Azerbaijan's Ministry of Emergency Situations.
