Azerbaijani MFA says landmine victims since 2020 reach 433

Two Azerbaijani citizens were severely injured in another landmine explosion, Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry said in a post on X, Report informs.
According to the ministry, since the 2020 war, 433 people have been affected by landmine contamination by Armenia.
The ministry said the latest incident is a stark reminder of the continued human cost of landmines and the dangers faced by civilians every day.
It stressed the urgent need for enhanced international support for comprehensive demining efforts.
"A mine-free future is essential for sustainable peace, development and human security," the ministry said.
