Azerbaijan to expand healthcare financing

In 2022, expenditures of Azerbaijan’s state budget for the healthcare sector will amount to 1.443 billion manats, Report informs referring to the Finance Ministry.
In the future, there are plans to continue increasing spending in this area. In 2023, 1.488 billion manats will be allocated for the healthcare sector, in 2024 – 1.538 billion manats, and in 2025 – 1.587 billion manats.
Accordingly, the share of healthcare in Azerbaijan’s state budget expenditures will also increase. So, if next year this figure will be 4.98 percent, in 2023, this figure will be 5.2 percent, in 2024 - 5.37 percent, and in 2025 - 5.54 percent.
