Azerbaijan, Georgia agree to cut operation time of border checkpoint

The Red Bridge checkpoint on the Azerbaijani-Georgian border has shifted to a new mode of operation, Azerbaijan's embassy to Georgia told Report.
Under the agreements between the two governments, the checkpoint will operate for two hours, from 10.00 until 12.00 am.
The embassy said a corridor had been designated for the return of citizens of both countries.
Entry to the countries is currently only possible via the Red Bridge checkpoint, which previously worked from 10.00 until 18.00.
The countries have not restricted freightage. Meanwhile, the Azerbaijani-Georgian border will remain closed until April 20.
