ANAMA reveals number of landmines neutralized in Azerbaijan’s liberated lands in May

The Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) has issued monthly information about operations carried out by institutions (ANAMA, the Defense Ministry, the Emergency Situations Ministry, and the State Border Service) involved in demining activities in the liberated territories, Report informs.
Thus, 251 anti-tank mines, 141 anti-personnel mines, and 1,068 unexploded ordnance were detected and neutralized in May 2024.
Also, 4,839.3 hectares of land were cleared of mines.
