Afghan migrants attempt to hold rally in Baku

Azerbaijan's Ministry of Defense Ministry has released a statement regarding the attempt of Afghan migrants evacuated to Azerbaijan to hold a rally in Baku.
Report informs, citing chief of the Ministry's Press Service, police colonel Ehsan Zahidov that an estimated 40 Afghan migrants attempted to hold an unsanctioned rally.
"They demanded more attention from the Azerbaijan representation of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights office. As the rally was not authorized, the police officers held a preventive conversation with them. After that, the rally participants left the area," the ministry said in a statement.
