A 3.1 magnitude earthquake struck Azerbaijan's Shamakhi district on Friday, 15 kilometers north of the Pirgulu station, according to the Republican Seismic Survey Center of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS), Report informs.
The quake occurred at a depth of 3 km.
The tremor was not felt.
