Türkiye plans to operate continuously on the Moon, Serdar Huseyn Yildirim, Chairman of the Board of the Turkish Space Agency, told Report.
According to Yıldırım, a number of countries and organizations are applying for Türkiye's participation in space exploration: "There are many requests and invitations. But we haven't decided yet. You know that a space base where people live will be built on the moon. We will be witnesses to this in 10 years. From this point of view, we consider evaluating the most successful project that fits our purposes."
The Turkish official stressed the importance of continuous steps to expand the participation of the business sector in space projects.
