Xiaomi facing decline in Azerbaijan’s smartphone market

Samsung held the top position in Azerbaijan’s mobile devices market with a 29.01% share in February 2025, according to the latest Statcounter figures, Report informs.

The data shows a decrease of 0.37 percentage points compared to January 2025 and an increase of 1.09 percentage points year-on-year.

Xiaomi secured the second spot, with a market share of 23.62%, down by 0.79 percentage points from the previous month and up by 4.5 percentage points from the same month last year.

Apple, ranked third, saw its market share decline by 0.17 percentage points and increase by 4.28 percentage points, respectively, to reach 18.69%.

Lesser-known brands occupied the fourth place, with a market share of 17.38% in February 2025. This reflects an increase of 1.29 percentage points from the previous month and a decrease of 10.17 percentage points year-on-year.

Honor rounded out the top five, holding a market share of 5.07%. The company’s share rose by 0.03 percentage points compared to the previous month and grew by 3.5 percentage points compared to the previous year.
