Shahin Baghirov: Digital transformation accelerates development of customs services

Cooperation between Azerbaijan's State Customs Committee and the World Customs Organization (WCO) has been established on the basis of mutual trust, partnership, and shared strategic goals, Committee Chairman Shahin Baghirov said at a briefing at the Customs Committee, Report informs.
He emphasized that WCO recommendations, methodological documents, and international standards are widely used in the daily work of customs authorities.
"The implementation of the customs services' strategic plan for 2025-2030 is of particular importance to us. We strive to showcase the modern tools and technologies we employ in our daily operations. Our employees are committed to achieving the highest results using cutting-edge technology," he said.
