European Commission invests 8 billion euros for production of supercomputers

The European Commission (EC) intends to invest 8 billion euros in producing its supercomputers in the EU to achieve "digital sovereignty."
The Head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen told speaking at the European Parliament session with an annual speech on the European Union's state affairs.
"I am pleased to announce that we are investing 8 billion euros in the production of our supercomputers to achieve digital sovereignty," she stated.
