A commemorative postage stamp has been issued in Baku to mark the First Forum of Postal Leaders of Europe and the CIS.
According to Report, the design of the stamp is rich in symbolic elements representing the capital of Azerbaijan.
At the center of the stamp are the Flame Towers — a modern symbol of Baku representing Azerbaijan’s nickname, The Land of Fire.
Surrounding the Flame Towers are a sorting center, cargo trucks, e-commerce devices, and other logistics elements, reflecting the forum’s core themes: innovation, supply chain, and digital solutions.
The stamp also features the Baku Eye Ferris wheel in the background. This element symbolizes Baku's futuristic spirit and represents the dynamism and continuity of the topics discussed at the forum.
With the use of digital symbols, directional arrows, and marked routes, the stamp highlights the infrastructure of e-commerce and express postal services.
Visually, the stamp embodies the ambition of Azerbaijan’s national postal system to become a regional hub for smart logistics and digital trade, addressing modern challenges.
The commemorative stamp was printed in a run of 4,000 copies by the Belgian company Bpost Stamps Production.
