Companies that are entirely dependent on digital services today account for about $14 trillion of global GDP, President of the International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC) Foundation Bill Poucher said at a press conference dedicated to the ICPC world finals held in Baku, Report informs.
"I did a little research and found out: $14 trillion of global GDP is formed by companies whose activities are entirely based on digital services. A few years ago, I called this process the 'digital millennium.' And I sincerely believe that this is the direction in which innovation will continue to develop," said Poucher.
