Azerbaijan's mobile communications services reach $437M

Azerbaijan provided 742.1 million manats ($436.5 million) worth of mobile telephone communication services in January-July 2026, according to the State Statistical Committee.

Overall, information and communication companies provided 2.38 billion manats ($1.4 billion) worth of services during the first seven months of the year, representing a 10.4% increase in real terms compared with the same period of 2025.

Internet services accounted for 383 million manats ($225.3 million), or 16.1% of the total. Software development and related consulting services amounted to 379.3 million manats ($223.1 million), or 16%.

Information services generated 274.2 million manats ($161.3 million), accounting for 11.5% of total services, while other information and communication services amounted to 600 million manats ($352.9 million), or 25.2%.

Compared with the same period last year, software development and related consulting services increased by 34.8%, internet services by 22%, information services by 13.2%, mobile telephone communication services by 2.9%, and other information and communication services by 4.9%.

The figures indicate continued growth in Azerbaijan's information and communications sector, with software and internet services recording the strongest increases during the period.
