Azerbaijan's Chamber of Accounts expects expanded cooperation in digital audit

Azerbaijan's Chamber of Accounts expects international cooperation in digital audit to expand and new joint projects to be implemented.

Report informs that Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Accounts Nasir Sadigov said this at the "Digital Public Audit for Sustainable Regional Integration" event organized by the Chamber as part of the 51st Annual Meetings of the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) Group.

According to him, the event examined the experience of supreme audit institutions from different countries and discussed new approaches used in digital audit, as well as prospects for future development.

"The discussions should not be limited only to the exchange of experience, but should also lay the groundwork for future cooperation initiatives, joint projects and new partnerships. We are confident that the ideas and initiatives put forward today will turn into real cooperation programs in the future. The exchange of experience will support more effective activity in the digital transformation process and the improvement of audit mechanisms," Sadigov said.

The deputy chairman noted that the use of digital audit tools serves to increase transparency, accountability and efficiency in the management of public financial resources.

"Deepening cooperation with international partners will open up broad opportunities for adopting advanced methods in digital audit and sharing innovative practices," he said.
