Azerbaijan, Huawei mull expanding cooperation to strategic partnership

The possibility of elevating cooperation between Azerbaijan and China's Huawei to the level of a strategic partnership, particularly through joint projects in artificial intelligence, data centers, 5G, and cloud technologies, was discussed, Azerbaijani Minister of Digital Development and Transport Rashad Nabiyev said on X, Report informs.
The discussions were held during the minister's meeting with Philip Gan, Senior Vice President of Huawei Technologies.
The sides also exchanged views on developing human capital, organizing joint training and certification programs, and the possibility of establishing Huawei's regional digital and operations center, as well as a joint innovation center, in Azerbaijan.
