Azerbaijan, Huawei discuss creation of local R&D centers

Azerbaijan and Huawei Technology have discussed prospects for cooperation on establishing local research and development centers.

According to Report, the discussions took place during a meeting between Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov and Huawei Technology Senior Vice President Phillip Gan.

The sides also exchanged views on measures being implemented in Azerbaijan to develop the digital economy, introduce innovative technologies and advance green transformation.

The meeting also covered expanding investment opportunities, promoting technology transfer, developing human capital, creating digital and green solutions and applying them across various sectors of the economy, as well as establishing new areas of cooperation in these fields.
