Average monthly wage in Azerbaijan's ICT sector reaches 2,137 manats

The average monthly nominal salary in Azerbaijan's information and communications sector amounted to 2,137 manats ($1.257) in January-July 2026, Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.
The average monthly salary was 1,911 manats ($1,124) in the public sector and 2,272 manats ($1,336) in the private sector.
Compared with the same period in 2025, the sector's average monthly nominal salary increased by 12.8%. The increase amounted to 20% in the public sector and 7.8% in the private sector.
As of August 1, 2026, the number of employees working under employment contracts in the sector stood at 34,200, down 0.3% from a year earlier.
