Apple loses 27% of its share in Azerbaijan's mobile device market in May

Samsung held the top position in Azerbaijan’s mobile devices market with a 30.77% share in May 2025, according to the latest Statcounter figures, Report informs.

The data shows an increase of 3.09 percentage points compared to April 2025 and 2.05 percentage points year-on-year.

Xiaomi secured the second spot, with a market share of 26.22%, up by 2.93 percentage points from the previous month and down 0.02 percentage points from the same month last year.

Lesser-known brands occupied the third place, with a market share of 16.37% in May 2025. This reflects a decrease of 2.04 percentage points from the previous month and 0.74 percentage points year-on-year.

Apple, ranked fourth, saw its market share decline by 5.11 percentage points compared to April 2025 and dropped by 1.99 percentage points year-on-year to 13.74%. Thus, the company's market share in May decreased by 27% compared to the previous month.

Honor rounded out the top five, holding a market share of 6.17%. The company’s share rose by 1.23 percentage points compared to the previous month and fell by 1.11 percentage points compared to May 2024.
