95 public employees in Azerbaijan fell victim to cyberattacks in 1H2025

In the first half of 2025, 95 employees from 47 government institutions in Azerbaijan fell victim to hacker attacks due to failure to follow cyber hygiene rules, Tural Mammadov, a department head at the Special Communication and Information Security State Service, said at the 6th Summit of IT Leaders of State Institutions, Report informs.
Mammadov noted that 16% of the affected individuals held admin-level privileges.
"During this period, 62 vulnerabilities were identified in the state information system that allowed access to and collection of personal data," Mammadov added.
