WHO names 3 categories of people for whom omicron strain is most dangerous

The Omicron strain of coronavirus poses a particular danger to the lives of elderly people, unvaccinated and those who suffer from concomitant diseases, Report informs referring to the World Health Organization (WHO).
“The risk of death from omicron infection increases with age. We also have data showing that people with at least one comorbid condition are at increased risk of hospitalization and death,” the WHO said.
Those who caught Omicron variant really have a less severe form of disease.
“Nevertheless, hundreds of thousands of people around the world are in hospitals,” the organization said.
