WHO: Booster doses of COVID vaccines should not be priority

The World Health Organization (WHO) at this stage doesn’t see the need for booster doses of the coronavirus vaccine, WHO chief scientist Soumya Swaminathan said at a briefing on Aug. 18, Report informs referring to TASS.
“We believe clearly that the data today does not indicate that boosters are needed,” the scientist added.
Michael Ryan, executive director at the WHO Health Emergencies Program, expressed a similar view.
