"The COVID-19-related mortality rate among children is quite low," Nazrin Mustafayeva, an infectious disease specialist at the Infectious Diseases Working Group of the Management Union of Medical Territorial Units (TABIB).
The TABIB official said that children, who are usually infected with the virus, have a mild form of the disease: "Children are more likely to be a source of infection. The majority of sick children recover."
