TABIB: Medical assistance provided to 52 people during WUF13 days

Within the framework of the Thirteenth Session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13), a total of 52 requests were received by the Republican Emergency and Urgent Medical Aid Center from event participants, the Administration of the Regional Medical Divisions (TABIB) said in a statement, Report informs.

Out of the individuals who applied to the emergency medical aid brigades serving in the area where the session was held and other designated locations, 10 people were evacuated to various medical facilities. Of them, 1 person received medical treatment at the Clinical Medical Center, 1 person at the Central Oil Workers' Hospital, 2 people at the Mahammadi Modular-Type Hospital operating under the Sabunchu Medical Center, and 6 people at the New Clinic. Other individuals who applied were provided with outpatient medical care on-site.

For information, it should be noted that during the event days, in addition to emergency and urgent medical aid services, 4 medical facilities were also involved in the process for the purpose of organizing medical services.

During the event days, requests were mainly recorded from citizens of countries such as Azerbaijan, Kenya, Italy, Egypt, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, India, Namibia, Ethiopia, Serbia, Zimbabwe, and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The requests were mainly related to acute respiratory diseases, headaches, and arterial hypertension.

In connection with the event, 37 emergency medical aid vehicles were allocated across various areas, and a total of 93 emergency medical aid brigades operated continuously in an enhanced work mode at the event venues and designated hotels.

During the days of the event, the activities of the emergency medical aid brigades were continuously coordinated by TABIB staff at the Main Operations Center.
