"As the world's population grows, so does the pathogenic capacity of microorganisms. Since COVID-19 is transmitted by airborne droplets, it may be possible to prevent it through vaccination," Ramin Bayramli, chairman of the Management Union of Medical Territorial Units (TABIB), said at a briefing of the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers.
According to Report, he noted the flu vaccine could not be effective against the coronavirus: "Everyone knows that modern drugs have saved millions of lives. Today our life is different from what it was before. Thanks to vaccines, we were able to defeat many infections, and some diseases are already on the verge of extinction."
