Number of people vaccinated in Azerbaijan announced

Some 4,026 people received their anti-coronavirus shots in Azerbaijan today, the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers told Report.

The number of those who got their first jab reached 417 people today, while 338 people got their second dose of the vaccine. As many as 2,970 people got immunized with three or more doses of a COVID vaccine.

To date, 13,645,649 coronavirus vaccine jabs have been administered to the population in Azerbaijan. Of these, 5,339,638 citizens have received their first shot only, while 4,839,802 have been double jabbed.

As of today, 3,226,442 people have received a booster dose of coronavirus vaccines in Azerbaijan.

As many as 239,767 people have got the booster dose after recovering from COVID-19.
