Scientists discover most dangerous COVID-19 strain

Scientists say they have found a new strain of the coronavirus, Report informs, citing RIA Novosti.

Experts have expressed concern that the mutation could be more contagious than other types of COVID-19.

They also stressed that the exact country of its origin has not yet been determined, but they believe that it may come from Bangladesh.

Earlier, a hybrid strain of the coronavirus was discovered in the United States.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, more than 110.9 million COVID-19 cases have been reported worldwide, more than 85.8 million patients have recovered, and over 2.4 million people died from the virus.
