Pregnant and lactating women in Azerbaijan are recommended to be vaccinated, First Deputy Minister of Health, Acting Minister of Health Teymur Musayev said at a briefing at the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers.
According to him, pregnant women rarely get inoculated against coronavirus in the country: "In other words, vaccination is not so common among pregnant women. Pregnants who are overweight or have a chronic illness must be vaccinated. This is a world practice, and there is nothing to be afraid of. Pregnant women infected with the virus receive treatment in special conditions."
