Over 1.59 million COVID vaccine jabs administered in Azerbaijan

Over the past day, 27,777 people were vaccinated against coronavirus infection (COVID-19) in Azerbaijan, the Task Force under the country’s Cabinet of Ministers told Report.

During the day, 4,290 people have received their first dose of the vaccine, and the second dose of the jab was administered to 23,487 people.

To date, 1,593,883 coronavirus vaccine jabs have been administered to the population in Azerbaijan; 992,252 citizens have received their first shot only, while 601,631 got both doses.
