Over 1.5 million COVID vaccine jabs administered in Azerbaijan

Over the past day, 16,988 people were vaccinated against coronavirus infection (COVID-19) in Azerbaijan, the Task Force under the country’s Cabinet of Ministers told Report.

During the day, 5,391 people have received their first dose of the vaccine, and the second dose of the jab was administered to 11,597 people.

To date, 1,505,206 coronavirus vaccine jabs have been administered to the population in Azerbaijan; 971,523 citizens have received their first shot only, while 533,683 got the two doses.
