Number of anemia patients in Azerbaijan announced

"In 2020, 43,188 people suffering from anemia were registered in Azerbaijan, so there are 433 such patients per 100,000 people," said Health Ministry expert Zakir Guliyev, Report informs.
He said that this is a considerable number, and most of the applicants are young women: "Last year's statistics have not been completed yet."
The ministry official added that from 2016 to 2020, a decrease in the number of people suffering from anemia is observed.
