According to nutritionists, the raspberries are rich in quercetin and gallic acid - the flavonoids supporting heart health and preventing fat accumulation.
Moreover, raspberries contain powerful antioxidant compounds that have antioxidant effects and reduce the risk of diabetes and cancer.
The article cites a study in which mice were fed on freeze-dried red raspberries, which resulted in decreased blood sugar and insulin resistance.
