Famous Turkish doctor develops new COVID-19 vaccine

A vaccine has been developed against the coronavirus that lasts longerç said BioNTech CEO Uğur Şahin.
According to him, this new version of the COVID-19 vaccine, which is in the approval stage, can be stored in standard refrigerators between 2-8 degrees and has a shelf life of 6 months:
"Our first (vaccination) formula had to be stored and transported at -80 degrees. During this time, we began working on a new formula that has not yet been approved. This new variant will be kept between 2-8 degrees. We will likely reach a shelf life of 6 months when stored at this temperature."
Şahin noted that the vaccine is developed jointly with Pfizer.
