Bloating can be symptom of deadly disease

Bloating in the stomach is usually attributed to eating too many gassy foods, but it can be a sign of advanced bowel, Report informs, referring to the Daily Express.

Several telltale signs can signal stomach bloating is a sign of bowel cancer.

As Cancer Research UK explains, advanced bowel cancer can sometimes cause swelling of the tummy (abdomen).

This is due to a build-up of fluid in the tummy, otherwise known as ascites, says the charity. Besides cancer, many other conditions can cause bloating.

These are, for example, gastroparesis, irritable bowel syndrome, celiac disease, constipation.
