Azerbaijan reveals number of people vaccinated against COVID-19

20,903 people were vaccinated against the new coronavirus (COVID-19) infection in the Republic of Azerbaijan on March 2, 2021, Report informs, citing the website koronavirusinfo.
According to the information, 313,582 people have been vaccinated against coronavirus infection in our country so far. The vaccination process is successfully underway in all regions of the country.
Notably, Azerbaijan started the vaccination process against COVID-19 on January 18. The vaccination of people over 65 and employees of some government agencies has been performed since February 8.
The second stage of vaccination started on February 2. Vaccination is carried out voluntarily and at the state expense.
