Azerbaijan says measles, chickenpox situation remains stable

Azerbaijan's epidemiological situation regarding measles and chickenpox remains stable, with no signs of widespread transmission, the Republican Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology under the Ministry of Health said.
The center stated that only isolated cases of both measles and chickenpox were recorded across the country during the first six months of this year.
The agency noted that the epidemiological situation for infectious diseases is under continuous surveillance, with incoming data regularly analyzed and risk assessments carried out.
Based on current monitoring, no additional epidemiological risks have been identified at this stage, the center added.
