Azerbaijan receives first batch of Sputnik V vaccine

A batch of the Russian-made Sputnik V coronavirus vaccine has been delivered from Russia to Azerbaijan, Report informs.
The plane with the first batch of the jabs purchased by Azerbaijan from Russia landed at Heydar Aliyev International Airport on May 2.
On March 11, 2021, Azerbaijani Prime Minister Ali Asadov signed an order on the import of 300,000 doses of Russia’s Sputnik V vaccine to Azerbaijan.
