Azerbaijan exceeds world average on use of masks

Currently, 75% of the population uses protective masks in Azerbaijan, Report informs, citing the US Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation (IHME).
Georgia and Armenia lag behind Azerbaijan in terms of mask use. The share of the PPE usage by the population is 60% in Georgia and 45% in Armenia.
As for other neighboring countries, this figure is 85% in Turkey, 45% in Russia, and 54% in Iran.
According to the document, the average use of masks in the world is 65%.
