Azerbaijan confirms 2,237 new COVID-19 cases, 29 deaths

Azerbaijan recorded 2,237 new coronavirus cases over the past day, the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers told Report.

Meanwhile, 787 people recovered from the infection, while 29 patients succumbed to the deadly pathogen.

Overall, the country has reported 261,713 cases of infection, 238,125 recoveries and 3,567 deaths since the onset of the pandemic. At present, 20,021 people are receiving treatment.

Azerbaijan has conducted 2,873,658 COVID-19 tests over the past period, including 14,885 today.
