Azerbaijan becomes member of WHO National Laboratory Network

The Analytical Expertise Center of the Ministry of Health (AEC) continues to work closely with the World Health Organization (WHO) in medicine.

According to Report, one of the main goals of the AEC management and specialists is to be aware of modern development trends in medicine and to apply innovations in the activities of the Center.

Another successful step of the AEC on behalf of our country is a membership in the WHO National Control Laboratory (NCL) Network for Biologicals.

Notably, the WHO-National Control Laboratory Network for Biologicals was established in 2016 at the next WHO-initiated meeting in the Netherlands by representatives of 21 national vaccine control laboratories responsible for testing WHO-prevented vaccines. Cooperation with this WHO body will provide an opportunity for the AEC Quality Assurance Laboratory to exchange extensive experience.
