"Couples planning a pregnancy or starting a new family are advised to be vaccinated in advance," Natavan Akhundova, associate professor of the 1st Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Azerbaijan Medical University (AMU).
According to her, some contraindications should be taken into account:
"Previously, it was recommended to plan a pregnancy 6 months after vaccination, but later this period was reduced to 3 and finally to 1 month."
