About 22,000 children suffer from anemia in Azerbaijan

As many as 21,986 children aged 0-13 years with a diagnosis of anemia were registered at the dispensary, said Aynura Zeynalova, adviser to the maternal and child health sector of the Ministry of Health, Report informs.
She noted that this figure is higher than in 2020: "Then there were less than 20,000 children registered."
According to the World Health Organization, 30% of the world's population and 40% of children suffer from anemia.
