Task Force announces number of vaccinations

23,923 people were vaccinated against the coronavirus (COVID-19) infection in Azerbaijan on March 18, Report informs, citing the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers.
A total of 481,022 people have been inoculated against the virus in the country.
Immunization successfully continues in all regions of the country.
Azerbaijan started inoculating its population against COVID-19 on January 18. The immunization of people over 65 and employees of some government agencies has been carried out since February 8.
The second stage of vaccination started on February 2. It is performed voluntarily and at state expense.
