Ferrari chief: Baku race is always unpredictable

The race in Baku is always unpredictable and full of opportunities, Ferrari team principal Frédéric Vasseur said while commenting on the upcoming Azerbaijan Grand Prix, according to Report, citing FormulaPassion,

"The weekend in Baku is always challenging, as the circuit combines long straights with a technically demanding middle sector. The races are unpredictable and full of opportunities, so it"s important to execute everything perfectly and stay focused to maximize our chances," he said.

Vasseur noted that Ferrari is working hard to prepare for the race in Baku. "We understand that, on street circuits, every detail can make a difference. Our goal is to bring everything together and achieve a strong result with both drivers," added the head of the Italian team.

Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc has won pole position at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix for the past four years.

In the Constructors" Championship this season, Ferrari is in second place with 280 points, trailing only McLaren (617). At the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, McLaren could clinch the Constructors" title.

In the overall standings, Leclerc is in fifth place with 163 points, while his teammate Lewis Hamilton is sixth with 117.

The Azerbaijan Grand Prix will take place on September 19–21.
