Zuzana Mrazová: Cooperation between cities in Czech Republic, Azerbaijan to bring mutual benefits

Cooperation between cities and municipalities in the Czech Republic and Azerbaijan will be extremely beneficial for both countries, Czech Regional Development Minister Zuzana Mrazová said, responding to a question from Report at the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) in Baku.

"The Czech Ministry of Regional Development is ready to facilitate direct contacts between Czech and Azerbaijani cities and municipalities. We have extensive experience implementing smart solutions in cities, and I am convinced that this experience can be successfully transferred to Azerbaijan," the minister noted.

Speaking about the Czech Republic's contribution to the construction and restoration work in Karabakh, Mrazová emphasized that Czech companies can provide economic and practical support.

"Our companies could be useful, for example, in construction or the development of medical facilities, as the Czech Republic is renowned for its very high level of healthcare. I believe we can provide you with significant assistance in these areas," the Czech minister concluded.
