Yuriy Husyev: Kyiv expects Azerbaijan to participate in conference on Ukraine's restoration

The Ukrainian side expects high-level Azerbaijani participation in the Ukraine Recovery Conference, which will be held on June 25-26 in Gdansk, Poland, Ukrainian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Yuriy Husyev said in an interview with Report on the sidelines of the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13).

"We expect Azerbaijan to participate in the Ukraine Recovery Conference, which will be held this June in Gdansk, Poland," the diplomat stated.

He also recalled that Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov has participated in several previous Ukraine recovery conferences.

"We expect Azerbaijan to be represented at a high level this year as well," he noted.

The ambassador also announced that the parties are continuing discussions on holding the next meeting of the Azerbaijani-Ukrainian Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation.

"We continue to engage in dialogue with our Azerbaijani friends and partners regarding holding the Intergovernmental Commission meeting this year. We are discussing the dates and agenda for this meeting. We expect that by the end of this year, we will be able to hold this meeting as productively as the previous one, which took place in Baku in 2025," the diplomat emphasized.
