Second day of WUF13 starts

The second day of the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) has begun in Baku, bringing together thousands of participants from around the world to discuss the future of cities and urban development.

According to Report, the forum's agenda on Tuesday includes the first-ever Leaders Summit in the history of the World Urban Forum.

An official opening press conference is also scheduled for today. Discussions will focus on the global housing crisis, the development of safe and sustainable cities, urbanization policies, and efforts to strengthen urban resilience.

Other events planned throughout the day include the Joint Assemblies Closing Ceremony, a meeting of African regional ministers, and a session of MINURVI - the Forum of Ministers and High-Level Authorities of Housing and Urban Development of Latin America and the Caribbean.

The forum, which will continue until May 22, has registered more than 40,000 participants from 182 countries.
